Wendy Garber is a Senior Paralegal in the litigation department at GDH Law. She has over 26 years of legal experience. Before starting as a paralegal at GDH Law, she worked for the California State Attorney General’s Office in the Department of Justice for thirteen years. Prior to that, she worked at law firms and obtained legal experience in the following types of law: Personal Injury Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Civil Appeals, Criminal Appeals, Employment Law, Labor Law, Worker’s Compensation Law, Real Estate Law, Administrative Law, Health Quality Enforcement Law, Licensing Law, Business Law, Business Formation, Tax Law, Family Law, Social Security Law, Disability Law, Mortgage Fraud Detection, Prevention and Prosecution Law (former member of DOJ mortgage fraud task force), and more.
Wendy Garber is currently responsible for conducting pre-claim investigation, handling initial case assessments, researching complex legal matters, preparing legal documents that require an advanced legal knowledge of specific subject areas, drafting legal documents such as complaints, summonses, motions, briefs, and subpoenas, conducting research on case and statutory laws relevant to support motions and court arguments, preparing case files for trial, handling the administration of estates and guardianships, and collecting evidence such as documents, recordings, photographs, and other materials that support claims made in a lawsuit.
