Gwen-Marie Davis Hicks

Managing Attorney
Attorney Gwen-Marie Davis is the founding and managing partner of GDH Law which is headquartered in Prince George’s County and has offices in Lanham and Rockville, Maryland. Ms. Davis-Hicks has been a Prince George’s County resident for over 30 years. She proudly serves the residents of Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Davis-Hicks graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. After that, she worked as a judicial law clerk for the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Maryland, where she quickly discovered her desire to concentrate her legal career in the practice of business law and personal injury law. Gwen-Marie currently focuses on various business matters and personal injury matters representing clients that have been injured in serious catastrophic injuries, automobile collisions, slip-and-falls, instances of nursing home negligence, medical malpractice cases, defective product cases, and more. She understands that injury victims suffer from financial distress and emotional trauma after an incident, collision, or injury. She is dedicated to ensuring that clients and their families are treated fairly and receive all the insurance benefits and compensation they deserve. Gwen-Marie has experience working with nationally-recognized consultants and experts from diverse fields such as investigators, red light/green light sequencing experts, medical practitioners, engineers, human factors experts, etc. who help build strong cases for her clients. Petra Aaron

Senior Trial Attorney
Petra Aaron is an experienced litigator with substantial jury trial experience. Prior to joining GDH Law LLC, she worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney for almost 13 yeas, in the Office of the State’s Attorney for Maryland, Baltimore City prosecuting some of Baltimore’s most heinous crimes. Her most recent assignment was in the Special Victims Unit where she prosecuted Child Abuse cases, Elder Abuse cases, Sex Crime cases and Child Homicides.

Kaelia S. Plunkett, Esq.

Associate Attorney
Kaelia Plunkett is a dynamic and strategic advocate with over 15 years of experience in the areas of disability and administrative law. She brings her excellent advocacy skills and a penchant for meticulous attention to detail to GDH Law. Kaelia holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration from Temple University and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She also holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) degree in Law and Government and Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from American University. Kaelia is licensed to practice law in Maryland, New York, and New Jersey and is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice and Maryland State Bar Association. Kaelia is delighted to join GDH Law, where she would be able to use her experience, legal training, and education to serve the best interests of her clients by working diligently to ensure that they achieve the best possible outcomes.

Andrew James

Managing Litigation Paralegal
Andrew James is the managing litigation paralegal at GDH Law. Andrew oversees the day-to-day operations of each litigation case to ensure that the litigation department is running effectively and efficiently from the time the lawsuit is initiated until trial or when the case is settled. He has always had a passion for the legal field since the age of 6. He attended Frostburg State University where he obtained his Bachelor's of Science in Law & Society. He went on to continue his education by receiving his Paralegal Certificate from the College of Southern Maryland. Andrew has also gained additional legal education by receiving his Advanced Legal Research & Writing Certificate from Sam Houston State University. Andrew is a hardworking and dedicated, results-driven worker. He takes pride in his work, organization, and team. Andrew works every case with the same passion and detail to ensure that every client leaves with an exceptional perception of the firm.

Wendy Garber

Senior Litigation Paralegal
Wendy Garber is a Senior Paralegal in the litigation department at GDH Law. She has over 26 years of legal experience. Before starting as a paralegal at GDH Law, she worked for the California State Attorney General’s Office in the Department of Justice for thirteen years. Prior to that, she worked at law firms and obtained legal experience in the following types of law: Personal Injury Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Civil Appeals, Criminal Appeals, Employment Law, Labor Law, Worker’s Compensation Law, Real Estate Law, Administrative Law, Health Quality Enforcement Law, Licensing Law, Business Law, Business Formation, Tax Law, Family Law, Social Security Law, Disability Law, Mortgage Fraud Detection, Prevention and Prosecution Law (former member of DOJ mortgage fraud task force), and more.

Candyce Ware

Case Manager Paralegal

Brad Oliver-Peters

Paralegal Litigation Assistant
Bradford Oliver-Peters, the southern charm of GDH Law, is a native of Georgia. He brings the knowledge and skills from his business degree from Piedmont College and has earned a Paralegal Certification from Louisiana State University. Brad interned at the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office and the East Baton Rouge Parish City Prosecutor’s Office. Brad joined GDH Law in 2021 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Whether conducting investigative research, pursuing FOIA requests, or engaging in client relations, he is an integral part of the litigation department.
